force power on after lost power on Duo V2

Hi, as the subject suggests... I'm looking for a way to force my Duo V2 to power back on after lost power (I get frequent power outages). The NAS is a media server in a home that I am at infrequently. I didn't see anything in the device's menu for this so I'm at a loss and looking for suggestions. I'm surprised if this is not possible as every time it loses power it's just a brick, very frustrating.

You can enable the WOL, even though you need to properly shut down the unit for the WOL to work (it goes in a sort of standby where the NIC is still listening).
I hope you have an UPS for your installation and the UPS could trigger a proper shutdown when the power does not come back straight away - and then you can WOL the unit.

If you don't have a UPS, your ReadyNAS will surely become a brick at some point 🙂

Thanks for the reply. Could you recommend a UPS?

Most APC UPS units that have a USB port (note must be a USB port, serial to USB cables are incompatible) should work fine.
