Re: how do I get to the folder where apps are stored?

on OS6 NAS its \\nasname\data\.apps

You can access it with SMB using NAS admin credentials.  Make sure use a text editor that preserves linux formatting - for instance notepad++.

What NAS do you have?

Is there a setting in notepad++ that preserves that or is it automatic?

Also, where is PHP and the Database?

Look in the "edit" pulldown for "EOL conversion"  You want Unix/OSX format.

The one you are using already is grayed out/not selectable.  So if the editor lets you choose Unix/OSX format, you need to do that.
