Imposible to manage USB sorage

When I try to add or modified a file on my HD on USB storage I receive the following message;

Impossible de copier les éléments vers « USB_Storage » parce que vous ne disposez pas de l’autorisation nécessaire pour les lire.

I have a MBP with Sierra 10.12.4 working with a Netgear Nighthawk AC 1900 Wifi Range Extender EX 7000.

Thank you for your help.

Hello colveu

Does this only happen when you use the extenders network or when the extender is on the network.

Re: Imposible to manage USB sorage

@DarrenM, Reads to me like @Colveu does work with the ReadySHARE (USB Disk Share) available on the EX7000.

Would be nice to hear on the operations mode the EX7000 is configured, what storage and file system is in the play, and of this is probably one used more or less heavily before connected direct to a Mac. Especailly HFS/HFS+ non-native drivers tend to fail under some of these conditions.

Re: Imposible to manage USB sorage

Hello,

Thank you for your reply,

My Hard disk (ready share) is linked by ethernet cable to the extender.

My Mac book pro is link by WIFI to the extender using extender network.

Sorry for my English

Re: Imposible to manage USB sorage

Hi,

To day I tried with a new HD in Fat32.

All is working well

Conclusion HSF+ is not really supported by Netgear products !!!

Best regards to all

Thisis not limited to Netgear - all system integrators of these non-native file systems (there are two vendors, but that's not relevant) suffer under some variable conditions on HFS/HFS+ file systems. About what I had mentioned above already.

Thank you again for the feedback.
