Purpose of end date and end time for scheduled firmware updates
For scheduled firmware updates, the INSIGHT app includes fields labelled "End Date" and "End Time".
For what reason would I NOT set the End Date to "December 31, 2099"?
For what reason might I set it to "July 7, 2025"?
I don't understand the purpose of these fields.

Re: Purpose of end date and end time for scheduled firmware updates
Here what "Scheduled Updates" says:
"The firmware updates within the scheduled window. During an update, the Internet access of another device may stop, which can cause its firmware update to fail. To reduce this risk, Insight updates the firmware on all edge devices (Access Points, Orbi Pro, NAS, Pro Router) at the same time, then updates switches, and then business routers. Review the status of all devices and manually update the firmware of any devices that were not included during the scheduled window."

As most users don't have to schedule the update process, feel free to disable it:
