Hope someone can assist me. I dont seem to be able to see my Readynas in the network on my computer anymore following a power flick some 24 hours ago. I also cant seem to disover my NAS when I log onto the Readycloud. Have only been a Readynas user foe 6 months and not that confident in this area yet. I have tried the hold backup button and hit retry and that dosnt work, and I aslo get a timeout error when I try to connect to the admin area. Sorry if this seem a bit criptic but first time I have used these types of forums for assistance.Solved8.2KViews0likes17Commentsreadynas 102 cannot connect to readycloud app
Hi, I have a netgear readynas 102, I know it's one of the older models but it worked like a charm until last week. First my pc would not connect anymore, then my mobile app, now the laptop app is not connecting anymore. The only way to connect to it is through my internet browser, but i cannot seem to download my files to store them succesfully elsewhere. Can anybody help me to safely download my files so i would not have lost 5+ years of photo's and digital work? I tried upgrading the firmware, it says i have the latest, yes it will not work. Thanks in advance!1.5KViews0likes3CommentsReadyNAS online (VPN Disconnected)
I have a large number of clients with Ready NAS devices I support ranging from a RN2304 to 526X to a 214 all running 6.10.8 OS with the Windows App v1.20, different locations, different remote computers/laptops, and different networks and even ISPs. Every one of them has suddenly shown the VPN Disconnected error when attempting to access vis the Windows ReadyCloud Client. I've followed all the suggestions in the other threads with similar issues, DNS, fixed IP/DHCP, Virus Protect, reboots, removed the app - downloaded and reinstalled and reset the ReadyCloud connection multiple times. Nothing will connect the Windows App to the VPN. (Interestingly the 526X will connect to the VPN for a short time when I reset the ReadyCloud link under the Cloud tab but within 15 minutes will show the same error again) All NAS devices will access via the web browser and the ReadyCloud Android app with no issues and local access is working fine. I've even removed the leaf drivers and reset the networking components on the laptops that are running the Windows app. This error has happened in the past three years (twice) and in every case the reset of the connection under the cloud tab has worked, but this time nothing... Any help or updated resolutions (as the last one I found was 2021 and it was all the same stuff rehashed) would be appreciated as my clients do use this function and the web browser is very clunky for them to use regularly. Thanks!1.3KViews0likes2CommentsReadyCloud Desktop App shows OFFLINE - Ready NAS 626x

I have two ReadyNAS running latest 6.9.5 firmware and ReadyCloud desktop app v1.6 running on both windows and macos machines connected outside my LAN. Neither will connect and show status 'Online (VPN disconnected)'. Web browser and iOS mobile connectivity works. I've followed a number of discussion threads, tried a number of things, but can't resolve it: - Rebooted NAS a number of times - Turned off readyCloud feature by 'leaving' then rejoining - Removed & reinstalled both desktop apps - tried all the above pre NAS upgrade whilst runnign 6.9.4 - tried changing readycloud settings, specifying TCP port 6300,, punching holes in my firewall, 'encryption' on and off... Nothing works. Can anyone help - really struggling with this...4.9KViews1like11CommentsRegistration problems
Recently bought a used ReadyNAS Duo V2. I can't configure it correctly. I registered it on the site, but the configuration program says that you need to register the product. I click on the "Register" button and receive a message that the page was not found. Probably because of this I can not configure the add-on ReadyNAS Photos II either. Help me please! Windows 10 Pro 64-bit I am attaching screenshots. https://prnt.sc/ysrpjj https://prnt.sc/ysrs6s https://prnt.sc/ysrumi https://prnt.sc/yss1vuSolved2KViews0likes2CommentsReadyCLOUD App will not sync .env / .htaccess / any files or folders that begin with a period "."
I have set up our ReadyNAS RN104 using ReadyCLOUD and SMB file shares so that we can work remotely on some customer projects and collaborate better whilst we're COVID'd. It's synchornising properly using the ReadyCLOUD app on Windows 10 x64. The problem I have is, our web development environments have files named such as .env and .htaccess, which the software refuses to synchronise, it just ignores them. I assume this is because they are sort of like files with no name, just an extension. Windows also has some issues working with these files sometimes as they are used primarily by Apache on Unix servers. The software does throw up a Windows notification telling me that it couldn't sync two files, but this pops up every few seconds so I've had to disable it before it drives me insane. Does anyone know a way around this? The only thing I can think of would be to zip them up, but that's very much a workaround rather than a solution. I'd appreciate any advice anyone can provide.Solved2.7KViews0likes5CommentsRN21400 cannot manage through Readycloud PC Chrome

I have model READYNAS214, firmware 6.10.2 (installed today an hour before all started) on Windows 10- I can see my files through LAN & RAIDar (admin page button gets me the same result as above). Any suggestions? Thodoris1.6KViews0likes2CommentsLeaf Network driver not installing
I have 1 Windows 8.1 computer that refuses to install the leaf network adaptor correctly. I am using the same installation files that I used for others installs that work fine. I have uninstalled completely and reinstalled to no avail. The log in credentials work from other computers with no issues. The firewall makes no difference. This is driving me a little nuts. Any help on where to look to look as to what setting I have need to adjust in the computer is much appreciated. Thanks, Dan1.5KViews0likes1Comment
