Static IP Address Not working on Satellites
I was wondering why it is impossible to set static IP-addresses on the satellites.
For the router, by me in AP mode, it is perfectly possible, but for the 4 satellites not.
Each satellite takes an address from the DHCP-range.
I checked the last user documentation for firmware V4.6.14.3 and it looks like you can't set a static IP somewhere. It says... You can change the satellite’s model and name that display on the Attached Devices page. But NOT change / set the IP to a static one.
Ref. RBK852_UM_EN page 105-106 (November 2022 / 202-12600-02)
We have here an RBK852 Router with 4 RBS850 Satellites
Is it possible to get this feature in future firmware versions for router / satellites ???
Thanks,
Jochen
