So I updated to this firmwire a few days ago and after update I lost connection to my isp. I can't get ip or anything. Tried all solutions now it seems. Even downgraded the firmwire without result. I was thinking if the wan port is broken? But if I connect my Asus router and the connect orbi to the Asus I get up and everything works fine. This happend after the update so the firmwire must have done something to my system. Running orbi in ap mode works. But I don't want to use the Asus router. Tried all the thing with Mac adress and clone. Reset 5 times. Downgrade firmwire. I'm just sick of it atm. Should not break for a firmwire update.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What model Orbi do you have?
Did you power OFF the ISP Modem for 1 minuted then back ON then factory reset the RBR and walk thru the setup wizard? Usually this works. v16 is working for others:

Yeah I tried having the modem disconnected for 12 hours and reseting the orbi several times.
And if I connect the Asus router it get connected easy in under 1 min and works fine. So I don't think it's the modem. And it's not the cables. Using it as ap now and it works fine with backhaul with wired connection. The orbi is connected from wan port to lan port on the Asus. So I guess the wan port should work fine? Is there anyway to check if wan port is broken somehow? I just can't understand what happend after this update. And why a downgrade in firmwire didn't help. It's five days now without any luck.
When my orbi is connected to the modem the isp provider can't see the router at all it's solid white color on top- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
Disconnect the RBR from the modem. Disconnect all other devices from the RBR. Press the reset button in back for 15 seconds then release. Doe the top ring LED blink WHITE then slowly pulsate WHITE at all?
The Mfr is CTS and the model# is 3106 for the modem?
