add an outdoor satellite RBS50Y

I just installed an Orbi mesh router with 2 indoor plug-in satellites and am about to install 4 Arlo Pro 2 cameras. I would like to install one outside down my driveway approximately 300 feet away and all I have seen referenced is square footage estimates but not distance and want to know if the outdoor expansion satellite (RBS50Y) with extend the wifi signal that far outdoors.

    Hello genedoms

     

    The outdoor orbi would not connect to your Arlo cameras. The cameras connect to the Arlo base station and there is no way to connect the base station to the outdoor orbi as it does not have a ethernet port.

      Thanks Darren. That's a drag but it makes sense. I will just have to reposition the cameras to get the best coverage I can.
