Airplay music stream freezing with RBK40
Hi, I received my Orbi system RBK40 today. The installation went well and the speedness is as expected, however I have issues with streaming music using Airplay. Every minute or so the music ...
It could be the band steering switching the device between 2.5ghz and 5ghz and if the music is not buffered out far enough it would drop. you could try lowering the 2.4ghz band in the advances wireless settings see if this helps.

In the meanwhile I made following observations:
- When I stream simultaneously on my Apple TV, which is wired directly to Orbi, there is no freezing
- Screen sharing between two macs is also freezing, I never had this issue with a router before
I now lowered the 2.4ghz band to 75%. It didn't solve the issue.

Hi,
I tried with lowering the 2,4ghz band to 50% and 25%. It didn't help.
I then reverted to factory default settings. Same issue after reconfiguration.
Last day before I sent it back and let know potential buyers to be careful.

Me again,
I downgraded to the Router Firmware Version V1.11.0.20 as per instructed here. This is an operation for advanced users only. It fixed immediatly the freezing issue, however I guess that the new firmwares were bringing other updates from which I obviously don't benefit now.
Any comments from a support perspective?
