Apple MAC Powers Down Orbi when it goes to sleep.
I have a friend with a very peculiar and frustrating problem. He has installed an ORBI RBR20 and all seems to be working well. It is connected to an Apple Macintosh desktop PC. When the Apple goes to sleep, the ORBI powers down and its power light goes out and all wifi signal stops. When he wakes the desktop, the ORBI goes thorugh a power on cycle. If he connects the Apple desktop to the ORBI via a switch, exactly the same thing happens.
What is even more puzzling is I had him connect his Apple Macintosh to the ORBI via wifi and remove the ethernet cable. When the PC sleeps, the ORBI still powers down. Somehow the ORBI is receiving a signal either on Ethernet or via wifi that causes it to shut down. This is making the ORBI unusable in his environment and he plans to return it. If he turns off sleep mode, the ORBI is fine.
Anybody have any idea why this is happening and how to prevent it?

What FW is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ethernet switch if one is in the configuration.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials. What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try disabling the following and see:
MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
If you updated to recent FW v.210, try enabling Daisy Chain. Some have mentioned that this seems to be working in reverse order, enabling means disabled actually. Hoping NG support can have a look at this. So try this out as well.
