Assign devices to 5 ghz or 2.4

Question

I have the orbi router and two satellites. Most of my devices are automatically on the 2.4 ghz. Very few are on the 5 ghz. Which is better for gaming and how can I make a device assign itself to the right ghz?

You can't.&nbsp;The orbi devices do bandsteering so they move devices between 2.4ghz and 5ghz as needed based off distance and bandwidth needs.&nbsp;what you can do though? Try turning the 2.4ghz broadcast power down.&nbsp;and then disconnect your device from the wifi and reconnect it.&nbsp;
