Auto Update Firmware?

Hi,

i just installed my Orbi router 24hrs ago. So far, so good. I was checking the firmware versions. My RBI is currently running 1.4.0.34. I noticed there is a much newer version out. Everything I've read says it auto updates if it's got a firmware version newer than 1.2. Mine has not auto updated at this point. Do I have to do this manually through the orbi login? I'm fairly tech savvy but for some reason, I've always cringed at touching anything to do with router/network setup. I did search the posts but didn't really find the answer to my question.
