Bad speed tests when using Orbi RBR40 WiFi
I have an RBR40 router
I have Verizon fios gigabit service
When I connect to the Verizon WiFi I get speeds of down 377 up 286
When I connect to the Orbi router WiFi I get speeds down 93 up 92
Hardwired to the Orbi (no WiFi) I get up speeds down 920 up 940
Why would the the WiFi specs off the Orbi router be lower then the Verizon router. Any suggestions on what to do or how to reconfigure everything?

Are you running the routers at the same time?
vajim I am, I have the verizon router with wifi on and the Orbi with wifi on but we only connect to the orbi. My understanding is we have to use the verizon router as the Modem

If you don't need the Verizon router get rid of it
if you run both one has to be the router while the other is a access point
Another thing to check is which band you're connected to.
the orbi does bandsteering and 2.4ghz is much slower than 5ghz.
Are you connected to 5ghz during testing?
