Best Orbi System for tall rowhome
Hi,
I was hoping the community could help me with my wifi networking issues in my house, and recommend the appropriate Orbi system. I have a tall skinny house, so need wifi coverage "up", but don't need a "wide" coverage area. The house is 4 floors (including basement), and 2400 square feet. On top of the third (top) floor, we have a roofdeck where I would like to have wifi service. The house is 15 feet wide and 40 feet deep, with 9 foot ceilings.
The modem is in the living room on the first floor, so the roofdeck is approximately 35-40 feet above where the modem is located.
Currently I am using a powerline adapter on the third floor with a Netgear EX6200 extender. I get strong wifi coverage on the 3rd floor, but the signal does not travel through the roof to the deck above.
Should I start off with the RBK33 (with router on first floor, and plug-in satellites on each of the two upper floors) and daisy chain the satellites? Or should I opt for the RBK50 and see if that works (and add-on satellites or exchange if it does not work).
Thank you in advance for any insight/suggestions.

I would try one of the 40 series models. I have this one. 5000sq ft home. Place each unit at the opposite ends of the house from each other. 40 feet in between. Good coverage and performanc. I would do this at your place. main floor at each end of house...
