Can Orbi RBR50 connect via WiFi when used as an access point?

Can Orbi RBR50 connect via WiFi when used as an access point or does it have to be via ethernet cable?

I have a google wifi mesh system setup and am trying not to have to buy more google wifi, so I was going to mix it with the orbi I have. 

I put it on AP mode, but I couldn't find a way to make it work as an access point without it being hard wired to the main google wifi router. Is it possible to have it connected wirelessly? If so, how?

If not, can I change the name of the network and put the same name as the google wifi network ? Would that work ?

    Unless you got the orbi for free, its best to stick with a single mesh system. 

    They aren't compatible and will just end up ruining the whole point of having a mesh system (seamless roaming)
