Can't change verification phone number for Orbi

Question

I need to change my verification number for my account but there is no option anywhere I can find when I login. I've searched the forum and all the answers had someone from NETGEAR solve it in the forum by gathering contact info and contacting support themselves. Can anyone help?

Having never enabled two factor authentication, I cannot speak from personal experience.

I have a suspicion that this advice might be impossible to follow because the Orbi 'app' may not open unless the user supplies the two factor authentication number which has been sent to a phone number they can no longer access.
Is this what is happening?
