(CBK40)with AT&T Fiber

Question

I have AT&amp;T Fiber. Tired of paying for their equipment each month. Purchased the CBK-40. &nbsp;The AT&amp;T ONT only has ethernet. Do I have to connect the CBK via COAX or can I use one of the available ethernet ports or purchase a coax/ethernet adapter.? Cheers ...&nbsp;

The cbr40 isn't compatible with att service. This is directly off the listing:&nbsp;Compatible with all major Internet Service Providers — Xfinity from Comcast, Spectrum, Cox, and more. Not compatible with Gigabit service. Not compatible with: Verizon, AT&amp;T, or CenturyLink

As&nbsp;plemans&nbsp;states, the CBR system only works on cable ISP services. ATT, CenturyLink and Verizon are non cable ISPs, thus DSL FIber or ONT services only.&nbsp;&nbsp;Contact your ISP to make sure what specific modem or ONT hardware is required before buying a modem system.&nbsp;&nbsp;I recommend that if you want a orbi wifi system, get ta RBK system instead, i.e. RBK20, 50, 75# or 850 series orbi sytem to use with your ISPs modem. The CBK40 version was the wrong one to buy. its a modem/router combo device and not a router only device. If you're still within your return period, I'd return it or exchange it.&nbsp;

Thanks. I think it’s the right one. I’m replacing the AT&amp;T equipment with my own modem, router combo. But my question still stands. 😎
