CBR 40 Dropping internet connection
Bought the CBR 40 with 1 satellite almost a month ago. Past week now it has been dropping connection like 5 times a day. Today it has dropped like 7 times in the past hour.
Is it the modem router? the firmware?

thats a good question. We'd need more details to try to help you. We have to figure out first if its a modem side issue or a router side issue.
1. Is it both wired and wireless devices that are dropping? Or which types are dropping?
2. When the connection drops, are you still able to access the router/modem?
3. can you take a screen snip of your modem connections page and your modem logs? these help to figure out if the signal coming in is good/bad.
4. Is it dropping on all devices or only specific ones?
What have you done to try to fix the problem?
Does it resolve on its own or do you need to reboot it to fix the issue?
Who's your isp?
A couple things you can try. If there's any splitters, amplifiers, attenuators in the coax coming into the modem, remove these. Also check for loose connectors, corroded wired, kinked wire, or even just cheap connectors in the coax. these can cause issues and signal degradation.
