CBR40 Firmware 2.5.0.24
After latest firmware upgrade internet is dropping once an hour or more. Also the satellites (upgraded to the latest firmware) aren’t staying connected. One satellite that is cable wired is staying connected. Wondering if people have faced similar issues with latest firmware.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Orbi - NETGEAR CommunitiesThose things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads. - FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
https://kb.netgear.com/31029/Where-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satelliteWhat channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or may not be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Not seen on Orbi AX.Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).One User Experience/Configuration:

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

House is 3500 Sq feet single story and I'm running CBR40 router at one end of the house connected to Xfinity with an RBS40 on a wired connection to the router in the middle of the house and 2 RBS20 satellites connected wirelessly on 5ghz connections. Network Map shows CBR40 wired to RBS40 with both RBS 20 satellites connected to RBS40 directly. The RBS 20's are both about 30 feet away and one is in the attic.
All FW is up to date and I did a full system reset on all units and brought them back one at a time. That seems to have addressed the satellite issues. Yes, we have wifi neighbors but no new neighbors or observed changes. I went ahead and matched the recommended configuaration changes and hope that will help - though it took a while for the satellites to reconnect.
The main issue now is the router dropping the internet every 30 mins or so which would appear to be a router issue, not a wifi or wifi config issue. My pc is hardwired to the RBS40 (which is hardwired to the CBR40) and the internet is still dropping out. Router and hardwired connection has been super stable until this latest firmware update.
What I have also noticed is that if I click on "Cable Connection" in the Basic Menu I get an error screen saying that the router didn't send a signal and then the internet drops.

Is the top ring turning on PINK when this happens on the CBR40?
Is Daisy Chain eabled on the CBR40?
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
