Certain android apps stopped working or are slower than before...

The problem is solved. I shut down IPv6 and all difficulties went away. Afterwards, I remembered I enabled IPv6, thinking it would additional benefits. Apparently it did not have any benefits.

Sometimes IPv6 does have benefits. IPv6 needs to be native support at ISP first. If not, then ya, having IPv6 enabled on the system won't give much.
