Connecting a wifi speaker to 5G network

I have two wi-fi speakers that I need to connect to the 5G network. They connect but to the 2.5g network.  They are Polk SB 6 speakers.

The orbi devices do band steering. It doesn't allow you to "pick" which to connect to.

If the speakers need more bandwidth, the orbi will switch them to the 5ghz. (if they're capable)

I appreciate the response, but the speakers will not stay on the 5g network. They seem to go back to the 2.5 g

        Any progress on this?

try turning down the 2.4Ghz power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% or 25% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

If the speakers have a reset function, try resetting them and set them back up. I had a stubborn TV that supported 5g but would never connect. Resetting it fixed the problem.
