connection troubles rbs40v satellite to rbr750 router

hi

got an rbs40v from my previous setup, no I want to connect this one to my newly installed router, the rbr750.

but seems hard getting them to work together.

got this far, changed satellite to extender mode, installed the nighthawk app...

but got stuck trying loggin in, it keeps telling me there is in logon time out.

why is al this netgear stuff so hard to get it to work....

does anyone knows what to do? (besides trowing it al with the trash)
