Daisy Chain Coverage
I currently have a Orbi RBK-50 kit. I am contemplating buying a RBS50Y extender to daisy chain off my indoor satellite to provide outdoor connectivity for a Ring Spotlight camera. The point of location for the camera will not connect to the indoor satellite. My firmware version is V2.3.5.30.
My question is what the additional coverage would be when daisy chaining this way, i.e. the approximate distance I would be able to locate the camera from the RBS50Y extender.
Thank you.

30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. Ohters have posted having RBS distances well over 30 and up to 60 feet.

The Ring Spotlight Camera specs show connectivity as "802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connection @ 2.4GHz"

I have found estimates for 2.4G for over 150ft. in open space.

The Ring specs say it needs an upload speed of 2MB/sec, which is not a lot.
So, if the Ring camera has a clear line of sight to the RBS50Y, you are "good to go."
