Disable 2.4GHz radio on Orbi RBK20

Hello, does someone know if I disable my 2.4 GHz radio, it will be disabled for my private SSID and my Guest SSID?

 

I'm using the netgear Orbi RBK20 (RBR20 + RBS20).

    Something to try and see. Check the SSID broadcasts out with a wifi analyzer on a pad if you have one. 

    You can always enabled it if something doesn't work.

    If you are using a telnet hack to actually turn off the radio, then "off means off".

    If you are using the procedure of unchecking the Advanced Wireless Setup box "Enable SSID" for 2.4G, that should disable only the primary SSID broadcast.  To disable broadcasting the Guest SSID, disable Guest access.

     

    I agree with FURRYe38 that this will make an interesting experiment.
