Ditching Netgear
Who else is ditching Netgear after their announcement to end firmware updates for Orbi AC3000 Tri-band WiFi Router. They still sell this at best buy brand new. What are you moving too?

Its literally 10 years old. I don't know any consumer router manufacturers that support devices that long.
Or that work that long normally.
One can use Voxels 3rd party FW on your system if you want to keep it running.
Yes the Orbi AC series is EoL. There was a recent security FW update though. No new features will be seen though.
Brand new maybe new stock the the retailer never sold and maybe still trying to sell. Eventually they will have to pull it off the shelf but thats all up to the retailer.
