Does Orbi require an online account?

I noticed its iOS app requires an online account. Does that mean Orbi hardwares does too?&nbsp;Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

No. You can set up Orbi with a wired PC and web browser. No account needed.&nbsp;

Does that mean Orbi hardwares does too?Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)FURRYe38is right.&nbsp; The smartphone "apps" are optional.&nbsp; As fewer customers own computers these days, Netgear appears to have created a way for people without computers to manage their Orbi.&nbsp; Since you mention iOS, it's probably good to point out that "PC" means anything with a web browser and a screen large enough to show the Orbi web interface (Windows desktop or laptop, Apple iMac or MacBook, tablet.) Does not require an ethernet connection, although we "Old Farts" feel most comfortable with a physical connection to devices when we configure them.

Thanks. It's just weird that Netgear wants an online account just to use its app.
