Echo Dot can not connect to internet through RBR50v2
I have tried several times as my old echo dots (2) stopped connecting to the internet. Purchased two brand new ones thinking it was the dot as other devices connect no issue. New ones won't either. Set up my phone as a hot spot through my cell network, and they connect and set up fine. Is it the security software? Firmware is at latest version. This issue just started two weeks ago. Up until that point had no issues.

Please comment on:
- How this Orbi is managed? (using the web interface or the 'app')
- Which optional features are enabled? (Armor? Smart Parental Controls?)
- Exactly which firmware is installed ("up to date" is a bit complicated on Orbi routers.)
- The error message or indication that the Echo Dot cannot access the internet.
My RBR50 (version 1) has an Echo Dot which functions correctly. For example, it can play internet radio stations. ("Alexa... play KUSC" "Playing KUSC from iHeart radio")

Its managed both through the web interface and the app. Network security is on, parental controls are not. Firmware version is v2.7.4.24 When checking for new firmware it states Firmware is up to date.
Yes, Firmware Update is a bit (confusing? frustrating? insane?.... whatever). Netgear posted firmware v.2.7.5.4 to the support web site in February, 2023:

It is a frequent topic of discussion on the forum that neither the Orbi app nor the Orbi web Firmware Update feature yet inform customers that this version is available.
My guess is that the firmware version is not causing this issue, but one of the most common bits of advice is, "upgrade to the latest firmware."
On the web interface, does the Attached Devices page show Access Control as "on" or "off" (at the top, above the satellite information)?
I'd like to search the internet for the specific language used by the Echo Dots to describe the internet connection problem.
