Extender compatibility with a RBR50v2 router.
I have the RBR50v2 router and RBS50 satellite now. I'd like to add one more satellite, but the price point of the RBS50 isn't justified by my needs. Walmart has a clearance on the RBK50 that includes the router and 1 "extender". What is the "extender" and would it be compatible with my router - would I even want the extender? Walmart's sale price is around $200 less for both the RBK50 and whatever the extender is that comes in the box.

More than likely its one of the satellites if the router is the RBR50.
But there's other version you can use.
Here's the orbi compatibility chart.

Hello,
The Netgear Orbi RBK50 is a mesh Wi-Fi system with a router (RBR50v2) and one satellite (RBS50). If you want to expand your existing setup, adding another RBS50 satellite will work seamlessly. The satellite extends Wi-Fi coverage and improves signal strength throughout your space. The RBK50 package offers a cost-effective solution compared to purchasing the RBS50 satellite separately. With an additional satellite, you can eliminate dead zones and enjoy a more reliable Wi-Fi experience.
