Firmware update (automatic, through Orbi app or manual with connect laptop)

My current setup is an Orbi Router with 3 Satellites.

Two Satellites are connectes to the Router and the third Satellite is connect to another Satellite.

I noticed that there is a new firmware update 2.1.4.16, but all my Orbi's are still on v2.1.4.10.

Why is my system not automatically detecting that there is a new firmware available?

When I do a check for updates in Router Settings on my Orbi App (version 2.2.0.363), I get the message "Wait about five minutes while your orbi checks for new firmware", änd after a few minutes I get the response "Your system is up-to-date" or it stays in the previous messages for ever, but without a firmware update.

Why is my system not updating through the Orbi App?

So, the only way to update the system is manually, with a laptop connected to the Orbi system.

NG may have pulled v.16 from the auto update servers. I would not worry about.

If your systems is working, then don't fix it. Your not gaining anything with attemping an update.

Yes, my system is working OK, but I did receive an email from Netgear:

I updated my firmware manually. My reasoning is, that if the update software is as bad as the Orbi firmware, I don't want to trust it. My manual update went perfectly.
