Free DDNS from netgear now require monthly confirmation from No-IP?
Did something change this year where the free DDNS by Netgear, hosted by NO-IP, now require monthly confirmations? I saw a post here in 2017 there was a bug on NO-IPs side. I opened a case from them and they wrote I have to do monthly confirmation?
I'm using the same DDNS I created in 2018. It was only this year after I reset my RBR50 and reconfigured it that I started getting monthly notices it's expiring.
Or was there a time limit from Netgear I missed in 2018 on how long it'll be free w/o expiry notices?

When I signed up with No-IP.com (2018?) I was surprised to find that the "Free" host name required confirmation every 30 days. Not wanting the hassle, I purchased the five hosts names for an annual fee.
Here's a video from No-IP.com:

One of many results:Not blocked by google. I was searching direclty in the Orbi forums only and using DDNS as the term. The only other one (can't recall if thru google or duckduckgo, the last one was a 2017 article but also I think in another Netgear forum (not orbi)
Thanks for sharing!

One of the drawbacks of dividing these forums along product-family
lines is that a narrow search can miss many general topics. Often
useful (with Google, at least): site:community.netgear.com

One reason I am getting an Asus router and selling my orbi.
