Hard wire and Orbi RBK13-100NAS
Probably been answered 100’s of times on this forum but I don’t have the time to search for it. I personally have a Google mesh system. My neighbor has an Orbi system. When I built my shop 4 yrs ago I couldn’t get WiFi to my shop from 150’ away because of the metal on the shop and the brick on my home. Searched Googles community and found out I could run Ethernet to my shop and my wife’s SheShed and hardwire 2 new Google pods to get WiFi to our shops. It works amazingly well. My question is could my neighbor bury Ethernet to his new shop and hardwire another Orbi pod in his shop the same way I did and it work for him also? We both have 1 Gb internet connections in our homes. Thnx in advance.

yes. you can add extra satellites with orbi and use a hardwired backhaul
- spif91AspirantSo a hardwired backhaul is just running Ethernet from a 4 port switch I have connected to my router in the house directly to the single Orbi in my shop and plug it in?
You're wanting to connect his google system to your orbi system?
I was under the assumption that he was doing the same thing you did
