how to connect Orbi 50 to FTTC

I'm moving my connection from a terminal adapter PPOE to a FTTC fiber.
SO I need a external modem.
How can I setup everything in order to keep the Orbi as DHCP server?

First contact your ISP to see what is required by them regarding any modems, etc.

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

Every fiber provider that I have heard of includes a fiber converter box (an "ONT") as part of the installation.
This has a gigabit ethernet jack on it, so you will connect the Orbi directly to the ONT with an ethernet cable and the Orbi will continue to function as a router and provide IP addresses to your devices. You do not need to purchase a modem.

This FTTC will be connectd with a RJ11 (phone plug) so I need a modem
