How to logon to router admin page on R6400 when attached to Orbi router.

I have a r6400 router attached to an Orbi via Ethernet on the Orbi - Orbi is attached to a cable modem.  I want to login to the R6400 locally using www.routerlogin.net but I keep getting the Orbi adm...

Here are some general steps:

  1. Disconnect R6400 from Orbi LAN network
  2. Reboot R6400
  3. Plug a wired client directly into R6400 LAN port
  4. Login to R6400 admin page as usual
  5. Configure USB NAS drive
  6. Change R6400 to AP Mode and save the change
  7. Reboot R6400
  8. Plug R6400 back in to Orbi LAN
