How to switch the outdoor Orbi RBS50Y back to being a satellite instead of an extender

I have tried doing a reset.  That ends up providing me with the NETGEAREXT wifi which, if I login to mywifiext.local, shows the RBS50Y in extender mode with no way to switch it back to normal.

I have tried every rebooting and pressing sync on router and satellite.

Each iteration of "things to try" taskes 5 minutes so I am up to 2 hours now.

    You have to download and apply the "Orbi Mode" FW to the RBSY while it's connected. Factory reset then set it up as a satellite.
