I have a new Orbi "50", how can i connect my old "40" satellites?

Should work. Speeds will differ between the 40 series and 50 series though.

In the app setup it does not recognize the satellite

What 40 series satellites do you have? RBS##?
Are you able to add the satellites using the Sync button on the router and satellite?

RBS40, I've tried the sync button. They flash white, then solid magenta

What versions of FW are loaded on the 40 and 50 series units? Should all be the same version...
