You may have to investigate the use of stuff like TFTP, and other "command line" tools, to write Netgear's firmware to your Orbi.

I haven't seen much mention of that around here. It isn't something that Netgear will support officially, so a search for third party sites might help.

This is not easy. I understand this stuff and would not want to try it without good reason.
It would be easier to stick with the firmware and complain to your ISP.
