Install Orbi with C6300

Hello,

I currently have a C6300 modem/router combo and just purchased the Orbi. I have the Orbi set to AP mode and the wireless radios are off on the C6300, and it appears to be working OK. Not the best performance though. Aside from turning off the wireless radios on the C6300, should I also set the router mode to No?

    hi

     

    you have 2 choices

     

    bridge the c6300 and run the orbi in router mode

     

    or

     

    do as you have done and keep the c6300 in router mode with its wifi of and run the orbi in ap mode along with the sat

     

    ether way works fine

     

    what do you mean by not the best of performance ? your wifi should be much better now than it was with the c6300 and just its wifi coverage wise
