IoT connection issues
Hi Guys,
I'm facing this issue some time ago and I tried almos everything but without any full success.
My mesh setup is, one RBR50 2 RBS50 and 1 RBS20
I've in my house 12 switch sonoff connected to my Home Assistant. The switchs are in 0 floor and the HA Server are on 3rd floor, to increase the signal I installed one RBS50 on 2nd floor, so the path is Router -> RBS50 (2nd floor) -> RBS20 (3rd floor)
Almost all devices have the connection strong and without any isssues, but time to time 2 or 3 swichs loose the connection to the server even if I restart the switchsthe issue remains, I need to wait hours, days, weeks for the swtichs connect again and other fails...
If I ping from the server 3rd floor to the 1st I can't get the ping, but if I connect directly on RBR50 (0 floor) other eth for example I can ping without any issue the switch and the server, also the same over wifi if I'm connected on RBR50.
I've done some wifi changes like
- Long Preamble and Transmit
- Power Control = 50%
- Enabled/Disable Daisy-Chain Topology
- Enable/Disable Implicit BEAMFORMING
- Enable/Disable MU-MIMO
- I've fixed the IP in switchs
- Reserved the MAC on Ethernet configs,
without any results.
I don't know what do more to stable the connection betwen switchs and the server
FW installed in all devices: V2.7.3.22
What can I do more to try solve this issue?
Thank you

Are these all the same model of Sonoff switch? (which one?)
Do the same switches fail every time, or is it all switches?
For the path to be router->satellite->satellite, Daisy Chain must be on.

Hi,
the sonoff are all T1EU Wifi Smart Switch (1 and 2 gang) with lastest tasmota firmware (the older ones have the same issue)
No, it's not all at the same time, it's 2 or 3 then the others are working good without any issues.
I have the Daisy Chain ON but to test I disable, this is not the solution so I enable it again.
thank you

Thanks for the model number. Does this device display an LED pattern when it is off-line, as described in this post:

Sorry my question was not written well. When you notice a switch not working, is the problem limited to certain switches, or is it random?
i.e. one day 2-3 switches may be off-line. Another day 2-3 different switches off-line.
Is there a pattern of failing switches being connected to a specific Orbi unit?
The web interface, Attached Devices page shows which Orbi each switch is connected to.
Is the Ping problem constant and repeatable?
