Iphone 14 pro max

I just bought a NETGEAR Orbi Tri-band Whole Home Mesh WiFi System with 3Gbps Speed (RBK50) – Router & Extender Replacement Covers Up to 5,000 sq. ft., 2-Pack Includes 1 Router & 1 Satellite White.

It connects to two mac book pros, two TV's and one I pad. However it will not connect my iPhone 14 pro max. In settings it shows the blue check mark and full bars for internet. But the internet bars are not in the top right hand corner and it says it is not connected to the internet.

Been on the phone with netgear support for 1.5 hours, Apple support for 45 min.

no one can figure it out.

I have downloaded the newest IOS 16.2. I have re configured my settings in the controls. Booted and rebooted. NOTHING works - Help please!

Ignore the other answer it takes you to a site that has nothing to do with Netgear. It exists to relieve you of money.

As to the problem with your iStuff, that really is down to Apple to help you to fix. After all, everything else is working so there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the router.

    Hello Frustrated21,

    Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!

This issue is usually caused by a security feature on the iOS platform. Please try turning off the Private IP address on your iPhone14 and then connect to your Orbi network.

To turn off the Private IP address please follow the directions listed below:

    Open "Settings"
    "Wi-Fi"
Select the "i" icon next to your connected network
    Toggle off "Private Wi-Fi Address"

    Best,
    Kevin

  • I was having the same issue with my iPhone 14 pro. I turned off the Private IP address on my iPhone14 and then turned it back on after a few mins. I then reconnected to the network and had no further issues.
