iPhone and iPad do not show up in device manager
Please advise how to get both iphone and iPad to show up in Device Manager. And does it matter if they aren’t listed? My iMac is listed, but the other devices aren’t.
Worst part was they were, until i rebooted and turned off and on my router.
thanks

Hello Artyguy,
Please answer the following question:
How long has it been since you rebooted your router and connected your iPhone to your Orbi network?
Do you have the "Private IP" feature enabled on your device?

I rebooted the router several times. No change getting devices added.

Don’t understand private IP address on iphone.
Before I rebooted, all the devices did show up.

Hello Artyguy!
Thank you for your response!
Please disconnect from your wireless network and turn off the "Private IP" address then add the iPhone back to your network.
To turn off the Private IP address please follow the directions listed below:
Open "Settings"
"Wi-Fi"
Select the "i" icon next to your connected network
Toggle off "Private Wi-Fi Address"

Do these devices connect to WiFi and access the internet?
Are there two devices which show up as connected, but which have strange "names"?
