Issue connecting netgear orbi rbs50 satellite to rbr50

Hello. I have had the netgear Orbi rbr50 and rbs50 for about 6 years. Has worked great overall. I have 3 rbs50 satellites. I have had some connection issues the past few months, to the point they all disconnected. I’ve followed advice from previous posts and was able to get 2 back online, so thank you very much to everyone who contributes. The 3rd is interesting. Instead of being recognized as a satellite in the network map, it is listed under a connected device within the app to the rbr50. I can only get it to connect when I connect it via cat cable to the rbr50 or one of the rbs50’s. It otherwise does not sync.

Any suggestions on how to get it recognized as a satellite again? I’ve attached a screenshot of what I see in the app. When wired, it will be recognized as a wired connected device labeled rbs50 but not a satellite in the network. Thank you!

What Firmware version is currently loaded?

Was FW updated on each RBS first, then the RBR lastly?

Turn OFF all other RBS and try to sync the RBS to the RBR. Try generating a new backhaul pass word found under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings. Factory reset the RBS by pressing the reset button for 15 seconds then release, then when the back LED turns green, unplug the power for 10 seconds then plug back in. Give it 2 minutes then try to sync it to the RBR using the Add Satellite feature on the RBRs web page. Have the RBS in same room as the RBR.

Thank you so much for your reply.

The current firmware on the router and satellites is V2.7.4.24. I cannot tell what firmware is on the one satellite that won't connect but I'm assuming the same given they were all updated at the same time a few years ago.

I do not know in what order they were updated. I've always just done it through the cell phone app. It has been multiple years since I updated to this firmware.

I followed the advice as written. The 2 satellites that do connect now consistently connect. With those unplugged I'm still not getting the 3rd to connect when in the same room a few feet away. When I wire it via Cat cable to the router, the led turns blue indicating it is connected, but it does not get recognized by the system as a satellite (in the app or when logged in through orbilogin.com).  It will be listed as a wired connected device like in the picture I attached previously. If I try to sync it without the cat cable, it will be magenta suggesting it didn't connect.

My guess is it may just be bricked at this point given its almost 7 years old. If you have any more advice, I am open to it. Thank you very much again for helping

Might try a factory reset on the RBR and the one RBS and see if it will auto connect to the RBR when the RBR it at the beginning setup wizard screen in a web browser at 192.168.1.1. Usually the RBS will auto sync  about 5 to 10 minutes into to the default SSID name and PW set by during Mfrg.

Lastly would be to try a 30-30-30 reset on the one RBS and see if this can get it to fully reset then reconnect. If this fails then most likely RBS has gone bad. There maybe more advanced ways to see if you can recover it but not sure if you wanna go down that road, would need to open the case up. Maybe able to find used RBS on places like amazon, ebay or shopgoodwill.
