Lightning storm

Lightning took out our cable connection a couple days ago, comcast just got over today to fix it. My RBR40 had been magenta since we had no internet but now everything is replaced w a new modem also but the RBR40 won't detect the ethernet cable. I've replaced the cable w unused ones. I also tried resetting the router since it took FOREVER (like an hour) to stop blinking white & I thought maybe it was just the new modem causing issues. Is this thing bricked? Did the storm somehow knock out my router? Bought this in 2019. If so, which if any newer systems will work w my 3 RBS20 sattelites? Thanks for your help!

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and Orbi system been performed?

I once had a lightning strike destroy a floor furnace, so yes, it certainly is possible that the Orbi has been fried.

For certain, there is no harm in doing a Facctory Reset on the router:

If the Power LED on the back does not turn green, then the box is dead.

Any of the original Orbi router models will work with your satellites:

RBR50, RBR40, RBR20.  The "Pro", "AX" and the new "10 series" will not.

Yes a power down has been performed several times as well a factory reset. The power light is green but it can't see the internet coming in from the ethenet cable, which is active, I plugged that cable into my computer & verified. I'm guessing it's toast & at this point I'm tired of watching tv from my phone lol.
