Mixed 50 router and rbs 50 rbs 40 sats firmware

What firmwares did you start with ? Did you have to update the rbk firmware first including the router and then the rbs 40?
RBR50 and RBS50: 2.0.0.76
RBS40: 2.0.0.58
I updated both systems (RBK50 and RBK43) first before mixing them together.

Since I do not have a rbr 40 , how would I update the rbs 40?
What firmware did you start with?
your RBS40 should be able to sync with RBR50 using sync button procedure. Then you should be able to update RBS40 through the Netgear interface or mobile app.
That’s a plan. I will work on this this weekend and report back if it works. I had tried to get two rbs 50’s but the Amazon cyber Monday sale was unclear on the second sat until too late. I figure I can return it if I can’t get that sat to work. In the house this is being setup ( my daughters)with the rbr50,rbs50, and rbs 40 should work.
my rbk 53 kit is working fine with two rbs 50s and the rbr 50 router.
