Moderate NAT XBOX One X with Orbi Mesh System
Hello! I am having the worst luck in trying to figure this out. I have the Orbi mesh sytem in my house that is linked in to my AT&T router/modem (BGW210-700) and I am getting a moderate NAT when trying to game online. I kept trying different suggestions, but haven't been able to find anything that works.
Any help would be much appreciated as I feel like there has to be a solution out there and I am just not sure where to go from here!
thank you!

Your ISP modem already has a built in router...This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktopI would try option 2 first, then try option 3.
Are you seeing OPEN NAT on the xbox dashboard networking settings? Where are you seeing moderate NAT? If in game, then you may not see OPEN NAT in your current configuration.
This a single xbox console or do you have two or more?

Hey Furrye38! Thank you for the response. I tried last night for the pass through option, but I wasn't able to get anything to function properly. I am not sure I had the right IP's in the right sections, but not sure what I need to ask my ISP for when I call them.
Additionally, I tried option 3 and still got the NAT Moderate with lots of lag trying to play online. I found this option to be the easiest but no success.

Where on the xbox are you seeing Moderate NAT? Networking on the Dashboard or in game?
You can try this and have the ISP help you with this if you want to use the RBR in router mode:
