NAT Subnetmask

Maybe somebody can help me.. I don't know, if the orbi can do what I would need.

I have a public IP Adress from my provider (which I use for my server/Exchange Server)

On this IP-Adress I have a subnet IP-range.

My ISP told me that it is not possible to set an RDNS/PTR to the public IP Adress, so I have to use an IP in the subnet-range.
Is it possible to configure this with ORBI?
In some firewalls it is possible to configure NAT-Settings, but I didn't find it in ORBI-Config. It is not Port-Forwarding.

Thank you for your help in advance

Claudia

  • I don't believe Orbi supports that. Only NAT configuration is NAT Filter seen under Advanced tab, setup, wan setup. This changed the NAT kind feature on Orbi systems. Port Address Restricted Cone and Full Cone NAT.
