NETGEAR - Orbi RBK753S AX4200 WiFi 6 Mesh System- wifi issue
Thnak you in advance for the help. I upgraded my internet plan to gigabit form Xfinity. I currenlty live in Houstin Tx. The service provides 1.2 gigabits upload and 35 download. I have an Arris Sb-8200 connected to my RBK-753 ( Costco purchase). I am getting to to router 800-900 migabits using a macbook 2020 using chrome or firefox. The satelites are giving me 300 to 600 migabits depending on how close I am to them.
A couple of concerns here. I am not able to get more the 900 to all ethernet wired connections due to my Arris SB-8200 being rated at 1 gigabit on each of the two ports correct ? Is there a work around this to get 1.2gigabots max ?
Why are the satelites only giving me 300-to 600 migabits ? Prior to this plan I had 400 migabits with 10 doenload and fot consistent 300 to 400 to the entire home.
1) is there a way to get more speed to the main Orbi router without changing the Arris SB-8200 ?
2) Is there anything that can be done to the RBK system to get more strengh out of the satelites ?

1. Both the SB8200 and the RBK753 support wan aggreation

2. Have you hardwired into the satellites to test their speeds? The wireless bottleneck might be your device and not the router/satellite.

Thank you for the link. I will look in to agregation. I have not hard wired the satelites. I was told by bnetgears is not stable to do so, I have a ethernet port next to both satelites so that would be an easy set up- Do you have any licks on how to hardwire the satelites.
I've had great luck with a wired backhaul on my orbi's. Pretty easy to setup.
