Netgear Orbi RBR40

Good afternoon.
Please tell me, there is a Netgear Orbi router, in the 5 GHz band only channels 36-40-44-48 are available, there are no others to choose from. You can somehow expand this range, otherwise the neighbors also use these channels, I don’t want to jam each other’s signal. The region in the router itself changed to Europe and Russia and the USA. Did not help :(

  • theres 2x wireless 5ghz chips in the orbi. The higher bandwidth chip is designed to run the wireless backhaul.

the lower 5ghz bands are used for device connection. That's the ones you can change.

Reason it does this is the backhaul is the important part because it doesn't matter how great your devices are connected to the satellite if the satellite has a poor connection back to the router.

The other thing to keep in mind is that 5ghz doesn't broadcast as far as 2.4ghz and transmits much faster since its higher bandwidth. So even though you're seeing the signals, doesn't mean they're causing interference.
