Netgear Orbi Router RBR40 will not connect to internet
I have a Netgear Orbi Router RBR40. Purchased new in August 2019. Router stopped working today. I have done a hard reset. Will not connect. Can I purchase a replacement base station without the 3 satellites or do I have to buy the entire package (base station plus satellites)? I paid $400 for this device 3 years ago, and am surprised it failed.

What is it actually doing? Some can be recovered with different methods than just a reset.
You can buy just the router but your best bet is through a 3rd party site like ebay.

Thank you for your reply to my post. We had a power failure yesterday. After Internet was restored, we had no Internet services. I connected an Ethernet cable directly to the cable modem, and we had service, so it's not an ISP issue. No connectivity with Orbi router. After several reset attempts, I wiped the Orbi router, did a factory reset and did a complete reinstall with new Orbi app and followed set up instructions as if new device. I also did a hard reset the satellites. After the set up, the factory network name, Orbi93 appeared; however, there was no connectivity. My conclusion is that the device is not working -- potentially affected by power failure ---and my one year Netgrear warranty and support plan has expired. Do you have any other troubleshooting ideas before I buy replacement device?
What modem is it connected to? Not saying its a line issue but netgears don't play as nicely with double nat's (more than 1 routing device) as others do. If the modem has its own integrated routing functions, sometimes you just need to adjust a thing or to for it to show internet connectivity.

My ISP is Spectrum. We have a SMC Networks router (router only; does not include wifi) Model D3G 1604W. Purchased router from Spectrum in 2017. Has worked perfectly Orbi RBR40 since 2019. I don't think its' the router which is working fine with temporary Netgear NIghtwawk X6 which I am using until I replace Orbi.
