Network Map hardwired RBR50, RBS50, RBS50
Using RBR50 + 2xRBS50 in AP mode. All three hardwired (ethernet). On the Orbi App, my 2 ethernet RBS50 satellites have magenta dots in the orbi app and it says connection type is offline. On the web login to the RBR50, it says the satellites have "good" backhaul and connection type is wired. The orbi app also lists the wrong firmware version on the satellites.
As I cannot find what the magenta dot means exactly, I can't figure out what it is saying. It's like it isn't seeing the satellites at all, but the web browser interface on the RBR50 would indicate all is working well.
RBR50 is on main level and 1 RBS50 in the attc and 1 RBS50 in the basement.
I'd believe everything is working well, but someimes wifi seems to drop out. The kids compain about it anyway!
Help?

My suggestion: ignore the "app". What is the firmware version on these Orbi units?
There is an entire forum devoted to the Orbi "app": https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-App/bd-p/en-home-orbi-app
People who participate in that forum are more likely to have experience with the app. I, for example, only activate the app when someone asks a question that piques my interest. I go weeks without opening it, whereas I use the web interface 20 times a day.

All three are on 2.5.1.8. Also, they are all three connected to a Netgear GS752TP switch. It is also connected to a google fiber box which provides the DHCP. That's why I am using the RBR50 and RBS50s as access points (google fiber wifi is turned off).

Sorry, I skipped right over AP mode at the top. (have to s-l-o-w d-o-w-n).
Orbi decides things are "online" by connecting to a Netgear web site to retrieve a small file. I think this is a failure of the "app" code.
