New Orbi firmware 2.1.2.18 update issues?

I've been running 1.11.0.20 to overcome all the stability issues of .74 through the beta. Zero issues on .20
I thought what the heck this morning I will update to the new version. Shortly after updating I had a reboot. Upon reboot the satellite have difficulty connecting and some of my devices would not automatically reconnect. I don't know if it was a problem with IP addresses.
I power cycle my modem and switch and reset my router and satellite that to .20 and everything is fine again.
I'm considering trying this version out again but with a full power cycle and setting up my network again.
However it really shouldn't have to work this way.
